Spring 2026

FI developed a design system for a series of Communications Office “cheat sheets” created to clearly explain processes, guidelines, and tools that staff and campus partners may not be familiar with. The goal was to make internal information more approachable, organized, and easy to reference.

Using Merrimack College’s brand standards as a foundation, I designed a flexible template system that keeps each sheet visually consistent while allowing for different types of content. To improve usability, I introduced a color-coding system that distinguishes categories of information, helping readers quickly identify the type of resource they are viewing.

This system allows the communications team to easily create and expand the series over time while maintaining a cohesive, Merrimack-branded look that supports clear and effective internal communication.
